Taylors Falls homeowners don't need another sales pitch about their roof — they need someone who shows up, explains what's actually wrong, and fixes it right the first time.
Before Roof Repair Smedway was a name on a truck, our foremen were already up on ladders across Taylors Falls, MN, figuring out which shingle brands actually hold their seal through a rough season and which ones just look good in a showroom.
We don't treat licensing as a formality — it's proof that the person on your roof knows what they're doing and that you're covered if anything goes sideways.
A roof repair that's "close enough" tends to fail again within a year, usually during the exact storm it was supposed to handle. We don't build that way.
Documentation on request, no exceptions.
A midnight call gets the same urgency as a noon call.
No invoice surprises once work is underway.
We already know Taylors Falls's weather patterns and permit process.
A roof rarely just fails one day — it usually spends months quietly showing signs that get written off as cosmetic.
The earlier one of these signs gets a proper look, the smaller the repair usually stays; waiting rarely makes a roof problem cheaper to fix.
Shingles shed their protective granules as they wear down, and a gutter full of grit is an early tell.
Once a shingle starts warping, its seal against wind-driven rain is already compromised.
Daylight visible through the attic roof boards means water has the same path in.
Stains grow slowly, which is exactly why they get ignored until they spread.
A slow leak or failing ventilation can quietly drive up cooling costs before you notice the leak itself.
A bare patch after high wind is a direct gap in your roof's weather barrier that needs covering right away.
We split our work into specific service lanes because a wind-lifted shingle and a full system replacement need completely different crews and timelines.
Read through the categories and you'll usually recognize your own roof problem in one of them — that's intentional, since we scope calls the same way we've organized this list.
When wind or hail rips open a section of roofing, we tarp it fast to stop water intrusion, then schedule the permanent fix right behind it.
Every homeowner gets walked through material options before a decision is made, not after.
Commercial roofs run different membrane systems entirely, and our crews are trained specifically on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen.
A full tear-off strips the roof to the decking, replaces any damaged boards, and rebuilds with new underlayment and shingles to current code.
Post-storm inspections give homeowners documented evidence, useful whether or not a claim gets filed.
Chimney crickets, skylight seals, and valley flashing are common leak points that general repair crews often miss.
Four steps, no surprises in between — here's exactly what happens after you pick up the phone.
Call +1-844-212-9199, describe the issue, and dispatch routes it to the nearest available Taylors Falls crew.
A technician walks the roof and, when accessible, checks the attic side for the full picture.
An itemized estimate is delivered before any work starts, covering materials, labor, and cleanup.
Once approved, the crew completes the work to manufacturer spec and cleans the site before leaving.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
We give you an honest arrival window instead of a vague "sometime this week."
The number you approve in writing is the number on your final invoice, barring an approved scope change.
Crews carry moisture meters and proper fall protection on every job site.
We'd rather send a crew back for a small fix than leave a homeowner unsure.
We're not your insurance company, but we make that part of the process easier.
If a repair solves the problem, that's what we recommend — we don't push a replacement to inflate the invoice.
Our guarantee covers our labor specifically: if the completed work doesn't match the agreed scope, we correct it at no extra cost.
We also guarantee the number on your estimate — barring a scope change you approve first, that's the number on your invoice.
If you ever need to use the guarantee, the process is a phone call, not a fight.
We stage crews across Taylors Falls, MN so a storm hitting one part of the region doesn't leave the rest of Taylors Falls waiting.
Because our crews already know Taylors Falls's layout, we rarely lose time to a wrong-turn delay that out-of-area companies deal with constantly.
Coverage decisions are based on actual drive time from the nearest staged crew, not a fixed distance line on a map.
